Mississippi Fred Mcdowell
Fred Mcdowell was born in 1904 in the Delta and worked as a farm hand for most of his life. He’d play guitar for for fun, mostly playing juke joints, picnics and local social gatherings. He was “discovered” by Alan Lomax in the late ’50s and became an instant legend, playing sold out festivals and venues until he died 1971.
He didn’t play no rock and roll.

Burn it Out
Smoke’em if you got’em. Couple of pics from the 4th annual Dirt Bag Challenge in the quaint neighborhood of Hunter’s Point. The burnouts where in full effect as dudes were continuously one up-ing each other for the moniker of “grease monkey supreme.â€
A parking lot party ensued and dice were procured for a rousing game of Cleveland 3’s. Is it the money or the thrill of risk? Whatever it was, things managed to get pretty heated, and I’m not sure if I’m talking about the game of dice.

SPACE KOOK
unfortunately, the space in the hamburger eyes music issue hamburger ears is not a vast and unlimited final frontier, nor is it a toaster with only 2 slots for your bread or hand or dick, so if you havent done it already, go ahead and buy yourself an advertisement in what may possible be the most anticipated event of the year, hamburger ears issue 001.. this photo by shem roose, and my new celly phone is killer so the celly phone section is back, and guess what else, thats right its the F. A. R. T..
